Billericay Town Rotary Club Crafting Group

The Billericay Town Rotary Club Crafting Group meet in the Human Kind Café and the group make products that are sold to raise money charity. Many visitors to the café have stopped to talk to them and express an interest in what they are doing. As a result, the group are running a monthly session on the first Friday of each month to introduce those interested in crafting to a range of different crafts.

There is no need to attend each month, you can choose the craft areas that interest you.

The first three months will cover the following craft areas:

March - Papercraft - learning how to make greeting cards that look hand made not homemade. This session participants can make an easter or birthday card. Skill areas covered will include matt and layering, die cutting, stamping and if required colouring with alcohol pens.

April - Glass painting. This session will introduce participant to glass paining with acrylic glass paints. Participants will learn by painting a glass bottle bud vase with a design of their choice.

May- Macramé. This craft is currently very popular. Participants will have the opportunity to master some of the basic macramé knots and make a macramé feather that can be used as a key ring, wall small hanging or displayed in a frame.

Spaces are limited so please reserve in advance and if you are unable to make it, please let us know so your space can be offered to someone else.
